
Stop Throwing Away Your Bathroom Heaters
Most infrared heaters are basically sealed boxes. When a heating element finally gives out after a few years, you’re stuck. You can’t fix it, so the whole thing goes straight into the trash. We think that’s a waste. So, we built ours to be fixed. The “Slide-Out” Secret Instead of soldering everything together in a permanent clump, we use a modular chassis. Think of it like a drawer. If a tube burns out five years from now, you don’t have to rip the entire unit off the wall and swear at it for an hour. You just pop off the faceplate, slide out the heating tray, and swap the element. It turns a massive headache into a two-minute job. Dealing with the Heat Infrared tubes get incredibly hot—that’s how they give you that instant warmth. But that heat eventually wears down the tungsten filament. It’s just physics. To make replacements easy, we made the trays a perfect “drop-in” fit. We also added standardized mounting clips. They keep the tube from shifting around during installation, which means you won’t accidentally crack the quartz against the housing. The Trade-off Look, nothing is perfect. Because we use removable trays and connectors, the heater is a bit bigger than those welded, permanent units. It takes up a little more wall space. Also, more joints mean we have to be extra careful about the seal. Since these live in bathrooms, we’ve focused on keeping the humidity out so the contact points don’t corrode. Built for the Person Fixing It We design these for the technician. A modular layout means you can test a circuit without tearing the whole machine apart. You wire it up, check the draw, and replace only the part that actually broke. It moves the needle from “disposable” to “serviceable.” For facility managers handling a hundred units across a building, that’s a huge win for the budget.
